UTSNZ National Tertiary 3x3 Championships

Overview

University & Tertiary Sport New Zealand, in association with Canterbury Basketball Association and Basketball New Zealand, will be hosting the National Tertiary 3x3 Championships in Christchurch on Sunday 8 April 2018. This is the third year the 3x3 champs have been held and the second year they have been hosted in Christchurch. Entries are open to Universities and Tertiary Institutions in both Men's and Women's categories. The winners from each category will go on to compete in the 2018 FISU World Universtiy Games.

AgeRequirements for the UTSNZ 3x3 Champs: Any student enrolled at a tertiary institute in line with UTSNZ requirements, regardless of age, is able to participate in the UTSNZ 3x3 Champs. However, they must be aware of their age eligibility for the FISU Games should they win the UTSNZ 3x3 Champs (see below).

Age Requirements for the FISU Games: Athletes must be at least 17 and less than 24 years of age on January 1st in the year of the event; for 2018, athletes must be born between 01/01/1994 and 31/12/2000.

Registrations close on 2 March 2018.
