Queens of the Court 3x3 Round 3 Part 1

Overview

Join us for a jam packed day of 3on3 Women's Basketball!

Located at one of Sydney's most iconic recreation centres, this women's only event is one not to be missed!

Queens of the Court 3x3!

We present 3 tournaments in 2019 ;
Round 1 : Sunday 10th March (completed)
Round 2 : Sunday 19th May (completed)
Round 3 : Sunday 3rd November (Registrations currently open)

To register your team you need 4 players.

There is 1 category : Women’s Casual.

Teams will be pooled and after the rounds are played, teams will be divided into a play-off series based on the results.
All teams will be included in the play-off rounds and medals will be awarded to #1 and #2 ranked teams.

What's the cost?
$200 per team (up to 4 players)
Once your team is accepted, you can pay via Paypal or direct deposit.

How many games do we play?
ALL teams will play about 8 games throughout the day.

Each game is 10 minutes long, or first team to score 21 points (winning by 2 points).
Although we are adopting the FIBA 3x3 structure, even the official game ball, we have adjusted the rules slightly by not including the 12 second shot-clock rule.

About the organisers :
Queens of the Court 3x3 is hosted by not-for-profit organisation, Each One Teach One Inc. We rely heavily on volunteers to help make these events possible. It is our goal to reach females Sydney-wide and encourage participation from the various cultures represented in Sydney to be involved and to share their stories and backgrounds. We also utilize these events as a means to empower and raise awareness around women's social, mental and health issues. The events encourage civic participation which provides opportunities through teamwork to network and connect with others to create strong support systems. The combination of the exercise and building support systems is known to assist with improved mental health outcomes. The events also promote healthy eating and living. So besides your registration fee helping to cover our costs, contributions of any kind, (financial, promotional, volunteer, prize giving) are all very welcome and we would live to hear from you.
