The AUSC Region 5 was developed to promote Sport and athletes, excellence in 10 Southern African countries. The inaugural region 5 Games were held in Mozambique in 2004. Thus, Malawi is hosting the 10th Edition of the Games dubbed the REGION 5 YOUTH GAMES LILONGWE 2022.
