1st CISM Military World Championship 3x3 Basketball
This tournament is for military teams organized in the Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM). CISM organises yearly military competitions in various sports for the 140 member states. 3x3 basketball is a new sport in the 72 year long history of CISM and will be carried out now for the first time in Germany.
About 36 teams from more than 17 nations will be participating in a sporting competition far away from battlefields under the motto of CISM "Friendship through Sport".
The great event will start on monday with a opening ceremony in the marketplace of Warendorf. The 3x3 tournament will start on tuesdary in the Sportschule der Bundeswehr.
Spectators are warmly welcome and entry is free.
